When booking my rental I went with a cheaper option in the town of Vegas rather than the airport budget pickup location. Nowhere on the list did it mention they closed at 5pm. while I would have made it on time to pick up the rental, my flight was delayed and the store was closed. I had to go back to the airport and get a car rental which of course cost me upwards of 3x the amount that I had originally booked. I do understand that it's my responsibility to confirm/verify, but when booking this car I was also under the assumption the budget rental that I would be getting this from was at LAS, and not a random budget in town. Either way, disappointed. Not happy with kayak or budget, will go other avenues for booking and will probably just suffer driving to and from work, because being in the car for 13 hours twice a month seems less painful than these on the fly issues that seem to happen *To the person reading this I'm sorry you have to listen to my rant, obviously it's not your fault and you get to hear angry customers rant which I understand is stressful, but this is more focused on the way kayak works and budget not being very budget-ey*.
