Cheap Car Hire in Beverly Crest, Los Angeles from AED 18

The Chevy Bolt was a major hassle. Having an electric car without a charger as a rental is a very bad idea. I was told it was easy to charge and could use a "fast charge" station to do this. Even in Los Angeles this is not easy to do. I missed 2 appointments while trying to find a place to charge. I ended up in a mall walking around with my wife for an hour while the car was charging only to find out that after an hour it had only added 20 more miles to the car. I was able to find a fast charge but every one else is too- we had to wait 30 minutes just to use the station and then the "fast charge" took an hour to charge up to full. Never again will I rent an electric car or even have the desire to own one.

I couldn’t get a car even though I prepaid. They said they don’t have a car due to shortness of cars. The second day still they didn’t have a car. Terrible experience. I will never rent from them again

During pick up car that was selected was not available. Agent couldn't advise if new car would have GPS and offered to rent us a GPS. agent then found out that they didnt rent GPS out. On drop of the agent at the other place had not record we had that car, the info on the rental agreement showed a different persons name and dates etc. Overall was very confusing and had to watch closely as appeared was overcharged.

The attendant checking in was not pleasant and lackluster. The car smelled like the previous user was a smoker. There was a considerable amount of “charges” deemed as “tax” when I dropped off my vehicle. $46 was charged and the attendant could not tell me the reason behind the charge other than it was a tax. Also, they charged me for gas when I had filled the tank before I dropped the car off. If I had not asked for a receipt- this price gauge would have remained in my bill. I will not do business with Avis/Budget again and will be reporting to the BBB. I was shocked that in these difficult times this rental car company is price gauging people with no reason. Don’t do business with this company. They obviously don’t care about the customer.
