Daniel was very helpful at the LAX hertz rental car location, he went above for me and my son

I ordered a rental car on travelocity, typed in LAX and up popped Hertz, I ordered the car and when I got to the LAX location they said I had accidentally booked it in Korea Town. Which is 45 minutes away. Why would I do that when I needed a toddler seat? They I got a total runaround from Hertz

it took 4 hours wait to get the car at our assigned location in L.A.. Found out the pick up was other place than the airport. Hired Uber to get to the location costed 30$. I personally think our charge to hire the car should be refunded. Reached the hotel latel in the evening

Allowed me to book a 6pm rental when they closed at 6pm and didn't have any way to pick up car after hours. I will be fighting to get my money back because of this.

Excellent customer service. New car. Satellite radio. Great gas mileage. Private chauffeur to airport upon car return. What's not to like? I was, for the first time, after many times with other vendors, very pleasantly surprised. Way to go, Hertz. Keep up the good work.

Avis agent called the day before our pick-up date to say that the vehicle would no longer be available. Didn’t even leave a voicemail. If I hadn’t called back the number, I wouldn’t have had any notice at all.

I booked it online through kayak. I went to the Avis location and as soon as I got there I spoke with the Avis rep, he said right away that there’s no cars at all and there’s nothing he could do for me. This left me in a bad spot because now I’m there with all my luggage and no car. I had to call an Uber to a different Avis location. I spoke with an Avis person on the phone and she said she’d transfer my reservation to the other Avis location. When I got to the other Avis location they had no idea what I was talking about and couldn’t find my reservation. They ended up giving me a mini van when I had reserved a pick up truck

The car that I made a reservation through kayak was not available. Very disappointed on this process I don’t understand why kayak involving with rental company’s who can’t provide a car that was reserved by a customer. The other thing is the insurance company charge me for the car that I didn’t get. What kind of system is this ?

I booked a car two weeks before my travel date. Two days before they called me to tell me they didn't have any cars available, and there was nothing they could do for me. These people can take a reservation, but they don't seem capable of holding the reservation. Which really, is the whole point of the reservation. The holding.

Nothing good about rental cars through Kayak.

Not enough room to write the issue... Had to get an Uber to get to the pick up location after it was changed 3 times by Budget. I get there, no car... only after calling Budget I got a car, 3 hours later. I will NOT use Kayak again for rental car.

They allowed 3rd party booking for 5pm when the location closed at 5. As a result I couldn’t visit my friend in the hospital and had to pay for Uber’s. The next day I tried again, I rented a car for 3pm and the car wasn’t ready. They gave me a dirty car after waiting 30 min. I made it a few blocks when I realied they didn’t give me the keys. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

Drop off process was quick and easy

The clerk was super rude at the Santa Monica location. She wouldn't accept my 50.00 gift card (thanks!), and the car interior was gross and stained.
