car was ready when I asked, clean, got great mileage, and destination airport had 24 hour service, so when I arrived at 4 o'clock in the morning, they were there smiling in a great mood happy to take the keys and get me on my way super efficiently.

I had to wait in line at the airport rental desk to show my rental agreement and then after being directed to the outside area I waited for almost 30 minutes to get my car. After getting in the car and leaving the airport it became very obvious that the vehicle had been smoked in. It stank so bad that we drove with the windows down and left the windows down everywhere we parked for the entire week that we drove the car.

Vehicle had a very bad rotor which cause a great deal of vibration when breaking. This was unsettling since we were driving in mountain areas. I told the associates when I dropped it off about the problem. They said it would be taken care of. I hope they do!

You have to go to the hertz line to get the car, where they allow the hertz gold members to cut to the front of the line. They were short staffed, often running to the lot to get more keys for rentals. It took over an hour and half to pickup a prepaid car. Not worth the savings.

Car got given to another driver after a 2 hour wait. Got a different car that was dirty and uncomfortable and had to pay the same price. Wouldnt rent through Dollar ever again.

Friendly staff at the Reno airport. They recommended an upgrade for a larger vehicle and were able to offer it for a much lower price than they initially quoted. The vehicle was almost new and very comfortable to drive. Drop off was easy and convenient.

Brand new Ford Edge, problems with eco drive, shut off while moving, all gauges & screen blacked out, dead wheel, couldn’t get eco drive to turn off. Car never should have been on the road. I booked online, and my rental cost doubled at the counter, very shady.

Smallest airport ever and everyone was out to lunch so only one line was open and we stood there for 30 minutes and it never moved. Would've taken 2 hours to get to the front and we would've missed our boat reservation so we had no choice but to rent a second car from Enterprise.

Easy to pick up if you know in advance you have to have a credit card for an SuV but not to just rent a regular card that's a dumb policy . . The staff was great I waited 3 hours trying to figure out how I was going to get home with out an vechile

Nothing to be honest. Line to check out was terribly long and the condition of the car they gave us was disgusting. Don’t waste your money with this rental company.

Condition of the car was disgusting. Brown stains coated the inside of the seats and ceiling. There was a burned hole in the driver’s seat. We tried to talk with someone about getting a different car and they told us there wasn’t anything they could do.

I was greeted by a very friendly customer service representative who took the time to explain the insurance policies, while also getting me prepped and ready to go for my road trip in no time. I was given a VW Beetle and it was in great shape and drove very smoothly.

I loved the car and renting the actual car was great.

The cost of the car at checkout was actually TWICE as much as Kayak stated. It went from $250 up to $450 and that's a huge junk that I was not expecting and couldn't afford. Nevertheless I was in a foreign city set to drive to another foreign city so I had I choice. This just makes me very hesitant to rent from a third party in the future. I check very closely to see if the companies provided shuttle service to the airport upon returning the car, Kayak stated it did, yet when I got there tjeu told me to get an Uber. Another unexpected cost & took extra time that I didn't have before catching a flight.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the price of the car rental was 50% of what it would have been if I had rented it at the airport location.

I didn't like that the only way to get the 5 miles to the Reno rental car location from the airport was to take a taxi which cost $16 each direction. I wish that had been made clear to me when I rented the vehicle. Also, the wash bay was broken so the car exterior was very dirty which was unfortunate but understandable. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful and the vehicle was fine.

An employee in the Budget/Avis rental office at the Sears at Meadowood Mall in Reno called me less than 2 days before my trip to tell me that my reservation was canceled because they didn't have enough cars. She told me I was the 11th person she was calling and there were more on the list. I had reserved the SUV three weeks in advance at a rate of $391 for five days. I had to scramble last minute to get a new reservation (this was for Christmas weekend), and the best rate I could get (off site from the airport) was $548, an increase of $157. The manager at the off-site Enterprise where I ended up renting said that the Budget/Avis place at the mall canceled people on a regular basis. BUYER BEWARE - don't rent from the Budget/Avis office at Sears at Meadowod Mall in Reno!
