The car was not ready upon arrival. Had to wait one hour for car. Low air pressure on tires on vehicle. Very poor costumers service. And Lastly was unable to return vehicle
Hertz just didn't have any cars in Houston other than at the Airport. There were 3 other customers with reservations that came in after me and they all got turned away, there were no cars anywhere.

There was only one worker on a SATURDAY! That’s crazy!
Vehicle wasn’t ready. Apparently the vehicle had been at a shop and was fixed. We were not allowed take the vehicle and leave because it wasn’t a “good to go” vehicle in the computer system. The vehicle was sitting there, the keys were on the counter, but we couldn’t go because a lack of care about detail in the Hertz system.

They didn't have the car I requested. They did not try to find a replacement or help me find one. All they did is suggest i take an Uber to the airport since they have a bigger fleet there.
Fair value for money
The pickup location had closed down and no one informed me. I went to the alternate location which was posted on a sign on their closed door. That location said my booking was with a third hire location. When I eventually received a vehicle it was used previously by a heavy smoker. The residual of our was so strong it infiltrated by clothes. I am not a smoker. Overall a very poor experience
Car was clean and comfortable.
At pickup I was not given any detailed paperwork or told of a large drop off fee to leave car in Dallas from Houston. Once I dropped it off I was charged over $100 for a drop off fee. If I had known about the fee I would have flown to Dallas with my miles which would have been much cheaper. I think they did this on purpose. Renter beware.
The car seemed to need maintenance. It was shaky and it made all kinds of weird noises.
Very slow pick up process. They also wanted proof of my current auto insurance plan. I don’t carry that with me when traveling. A manager told the desk worker that she could waive that requirement.
Drop off was really quick. Nice staff.
A long wait at pick up, but they can't help when it will be so busy.
