The price I booked through KAYAK was 88USD but the actual invoice was 270USD. There is a huge difference. I would like to improve. The car rental experience was good.

Great process and service. I had several changes to my reservations and they come and accommodated it all! I booked at the wrong pick up location. It was supposed to be at a San Diego airport but it was at another San Diego location and they easily changed it for me. And then I flew out of a different airport and they allowed me to easily switch my drop off location from Santa Ana airport to Burbank airport. Customer service was easy and the wait time on the phone with that long. Thank you for the great service!
Car wasn’t cleaned and had no gas. Agent kept us waiting for an hour and a half, never generated correct rental wffeement, we were billed for $233 tank of gas which we did not use.
Staff were very friendly. Easy checkin process. The only downside is that our pickup location did not have child seats so not sure why my reservation went through. We were made to travel to another location to pick up a car seat. Did not like this inconvenience but we had no choice.

They canceled my reservation an hour prior to when I was scheduled to pick up the vehicle. The previous renter did not return on time. I was left to call other locations to see if any had a cargo van available. None did. Ended up at UHaul.
Location would not take debit card and offered no other assistance. Had to book another car at airport and take an Uber to there.

When I went to pick up the car, the agent said that the reservation was at another Enterprise location 10 minutes from the San Diego airport, even though I made the reservation to pick up at the airport. The agent said "it happens a lot". The agent was able to find a car at the airport but it cost me considerably more.
They were totally unprepared and unprofessional. They kept me waiting for almost an hour and in the end provided me with the wrong car which was dirty, not filled up and technically needed to be serviced. The paperwork was also not filed correctly. I will never use Budget again if I can help it.
I booked the car with Kayak and they allowed me to book it at a rental location that closes at 5pm, when my flight arrived at 5pm. Therefore, I missed the pickup, and when I went to get it the next day the price was twice as much as the original.
Rented a car with two patches in the tire. One let loose less than 40 miles down the highway. Luckily we were not in the desert driving when it happened. Roadside assistance sent us to a “more local” branch to swap out the vehicle and that branch had no clue we were coming. Total mess and I’m not stoked.

pickup was understaffed. Desk people had to live to get cars. Was promised a Nissan - as reflected on rental agreement, but got an aged Toyota Corolla: cigarette burn, stained seats, passenger side damage(which I did not see until I got to LongBeach) Drop-off in Long Beach was very poorly marked. Had to circle terminal twice to find location. Had to search for staff t0 find a way to transport luggage. Then got charged an extra day for late drop0ff!! Fortunately that was removed when I complained. I know it's "budget" but please get you act together!

Make sure to take a picture of the fuel and mileage at pick up. The sheet didn’t match and they charged me for a full tank when there was only half. And the mileage was 33769 on the paper but 33211 on the odometer. After calling and letting them know that. They took the fuel charge off immediately. As soon as I said I had a picture when I picked it up. Otherwise car got great gas mileage and drove excellent.
They would not except my debit card. Car was not clean. Gas tank was not full. Did not have overnight drop off
We got a brend new Caravan for 10 days trip. Originally it was SUV for $511.00 but we had an offer to change it for a better car without any hesitation or extra pay. Exelent service. Rep by name Carlo even drove me home after I drop off the car at the office. 12 out of 10. Highly recommended.
I like the location and access.
I didn't like the choice of cars made available. Even though I called for a 10:00 pick up, I didn't leave site until 11:00!!. The upsale was a kill joy. You wanted me to upgrade but couldn't handle regular rental. Check out was a nitemare. Salespeople late and not helpful.
Made me go to 3 different locations just to do transaction ~
The service was great and very knowledgeable.
The building had mold and stunk just like it. I had to step outside several time due to itchy eyes and throat. The representative did apologies.
Process of actually renting the car was smooth once we actually found the car rental office, hidden at a dealership. Staff was friendly and helpful. We rented a Nissan Versa, a comfortable and reliable car, although boring with a CVT transmission. We were satisfied with the rental rate, and would deal with that Hertz agency again.
