Asst at car place was a nice guy.

Refused to accept card they already charged. Even with a card they would accept they wouldn’t keep the pricing. Mind you they had already charged a rental fee and a deposit that would be refunded in 7 to 10 days. Then they wanted literally double the price to keep the rental and “could not” change cards in the office so I had to call the 800 number and wait 1 hour and 17 minutes to get the fee “reduced” to 1and a 1/3 the original price and pay a new deposit. Mind you they had already charged the deposit once that I wouldn’t get back for 7to 10 days. In short my 4 day $180 deal wound up at $859 out the door. I am supposed to get half my money back as refunded deposits but we will see.

Staff was inept and inexperienced to handle a simple situation. We liked the car model.

The car was not cleaned at all. Surprising they rented out without cleaning and sanitizing in COVID times. After bringing this issue to the agent, he said he could not help it. I was mad but had no option but to take it. Myself and two of my family members cleaned the car inside out for two hours before starting the trip. Horrible experience. Won’t rent from Avis again.

The can was in good condition.

The offices were filthy, the line desperately long. I lined up for more than an hour to pick up the van. And no excuses were given by the staff.

Did not rent from AVR when it turned out not to be unlimited mileage. My experience with Sixt was excellent.

They did have availability of the van. Ran well.

wrong address was provided by Kayak. They gave us 15 seat passenger van with zero cargo space. They did not even tell us about this upfront. Also i had to wait 45 minutes at the rental space for them to finish cleaning up, and they changed the rental vehicle at the last minute. Van was not fully cleaned. The back seats were very dirty.

When i booked this van online the contract stated unlimited milages. However, when i picked up the car at ACE, they had their local policy with 250 miles per day. It was a huge surprise to me

I went to pick up my car and the location was closed. I spent $40 on Uber ans had to scramble to find another rental. Spent three days prior calling customer service to confirm but no one would answer. Hours of location should be detailed in the confirmation email.
