I placed a rental got there and the representative was rude and said my car wasn't there and to go to the airport and pick up my car there. He then gave me 2 options on cars that would cost more than what I wanted to pay and said sorry but I can't help you. I called the rental place by the airport and they said I had to pay $350 for 2 day rental and I'm like no it's not my fault my vehicle wasn't there where it was suppose to be. I will never try to rent from them again

We picked up our rental in Fullerton CA. The person Went above and beyond and picked us up From the Train station and gave us a better vehicle that better suited our needs. Also Buget Opened up a hour earlier than the other car rental Companies. Since our train came in around 7:00 AM that made a huge decison in choosing Budget. Drop off went smooth as well overall a pleasant Car rental and the smoothest of the last 4 that I have had.

Overall was good. But it wasn’t explained to me about the flex fuel option on the dodge that I rented (e85/gasoline). Also, I wasn’t told that the vehicle was a 6 cylinder van. I would have requested a 4 cylinder to save on gas, although the van did not waste as much gas as I thought it would I know I spent a little more than I would have in a 4 cylinder vehicle. I didn’t know how to use the car remote to open the van doors and trunk doors. I had to figure that out on my own. I just think a better explaination about a vehicle being rented would help the customer ease into a vehicle that’s being rented given that some might not drive a vehicle that have certain options like remote doors and flex fuel. But overall we had a great experience. Thank you

Seems like they were under staffed. Long line and wait for the counter as well getting the vehicle.

When we arrived at Hertz, one person seemed to have our name on a list, but the check in desk did not have our reservation in the system. It took another hour for them to set us up with a new reservation. I don’t know if this was the fault of Kayak or Hertz, but it was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Will likely not use Kayak again.

I arrived at the airport...the flight was 2 hours late, hertz was supposed to be open 24 hours--they weren't. I had to pay for an Uber from the airport to the hotel, back to the airport in the morning (same cost as 2 days of my rental) then they only had subcompact cars when I had reserved a full sized car....so I cancelled. worst car rental experience of my life. (it really sucked to be at an airport at 130am in the morning and not have your transportation waiting for you)

I ordered a Audi or similar car to pick up yesterday. When I got to pick it up they don’t have anything similar to an Aldie and they try to give me a Nissan. I asked if they had anything closer and the closest was a Volkswagen. We spent probably 30 minutes going back-and-forth inside before finally getting out to the cars in the lot. Once we got to the lot, they again try to give me a Nissan. I had to tell them no, we agreed on a Volkswagen. Finally we left with a super basic model Volkswagen instead of the premium Audi that I selected and paid for. I would like a refund for this reservation please.

pick up & drop off there is no booth just some hertz guys working out of a car trunk in the parking lot hard to find as there is little to no signage at the transaction kiosk the directions they provided was> go out the door cross the street and into the in the parking lot 24,000km on the car it smelled and was poor suspension - shaky ride on the streets and highway

Location of car pick-up was different than advertised. Lots of hidden fees. Inefficient pick-up/drop-off process (long wait and processing times). Although we didn't have high expectations for the economy model car we rented, the brakes and steering we're pretty sketchy.

The staff was very nice and price was good

The car was not ready and I had to call back when it was ready! 1.5 hours later I was running errands and I thought to call and they said..Oh yeah it is ready now. Ho long were they going to wait?

They charged me for a suppose scratch smaller than a the size of nail that I did not made. Also rented me a car with tires in very poor condition and I had to replace the car as the wires from the tires could already be seen from its wear.

The car was clean and it got us from Tijuana to Loreto safely.

This was my first time using Thrifty to rent a car. They wouldn't be my first choice in the future, though the workers at the store were nice the car wasn't great. It didn't do well with any road that wasn't in perfect condition so the car ride was bumpy and loud. In addition the car didn't do well on gas. The bathroom facilities at Thrifty were disgusting as the toilet didn't work (left over bathroom waste was left in the toilet) and there was no running water or hand sanitizer so I'm not sure how coworkers washed their hands.
