They called me at the last minute and told me they did not have the van I was going to rent so they would give me a box truck for more expensive so I had to go last mirando find another company to rent from

Lots of added/hidden fees after reaching the counter even after declining options. That should be presented at the time of checkout. Then for self reported damage, no pen is provided. Most travelers aren't carrying pens. I had to ask the man at the exit booth got a pen to sign off any damage

The women that helped me was so very friendly. They were still cleaning the vehicle from the prior renter. She offered me a seat and we had a very friendly chat for the 5 or so minutes it took to finish up the cleaning.

I thought I was renting a car at the San Jose airport, but it turned out that it was a small facility off airport that cost me $40 to get to by taxi. The airport Hertz was not willing to do anything for me except rent me a car at walk-up rates (at least twice what I had prepaid), and not even give me credit for the prepaid amount. They said I could get it back from the "company". Yes, same company. Very unhelpful while he was telling me how he would accomodate me. I didn't have any reason to suspect that the car I was renting was not at the airport, as I am not familiar with the addresses in that area.

Service was very friendly. I really liked that they called to make sure we are coming and when I called back to let them know we would be 20 minutes, they were very helpful. Very personable. They had a solution for our return. It gave us the necessary flexibility to return the car. Even though returning the car and leaving it parked on the street was a little nerve-racking but it all worked out. Car was exactly what we needed and what was promised. Thank youuuuu

I liked the price, and the staff at offsite location were nice.

I did not like the fact that it wasn't brought to my attention that the rental car was offsite and the airport location did not offer a shuttle to the offsite location. The taxis at the airport wanted an outrageous amount to go to the offsite location which was only a 1 and a half away! We used Uber to pick up the car and a friend picked us up when we dropped off the car and took us to the airport. Had I known the rental car was located off site I would have paid more just for the convenience of picking up the car at the airport. The cars at the offsite were not very clean on the outside and the cleanliness of the inside of the car was mediocre.
